Together, we’ve created a shared Black History Month calendar to help spread the word about the great events and activities happening across our industry.
And we’d love you to add your events too. The calendar includes public events as well as activities specifically for employees, members and particular communities.

Join us for Uplift Live on 13 October
We’re bringing all seven communities together for Uplift Live: Black in the Room, an evening of conversation, connection and practical support around being Black at work right now.
It’s a chance to meet people from across our communities, share experiences and explore how we can support each other to thrive.
We’d love to see you there. Places are limited and registrations are subject to approval.
A chance to get involved
This year’s theme is ‘Honouring Our Communities’, and we’re using BRiM’s platform to showcase the brilliant people, ideas and perspectives across our networks.
Throughout October, we’ll be spotlighting individual Black voices, reflecting the diversity of experiences, insights and identities within our communities, including the intersections that shape who we are. Keep an eye on BRiM’s channels for these stories throughout the month.
We’d love you to contribute too! Whether you have something new you’d like to share, or an existing article, piece of work or perspective you’re proud of, we’d be happy to spotlight it. There’s no set topic, so just reply to this email and we can take it from there.
